As expected…the Yankees have, for the 9th consecutive time, clinched the AL East title. Nice to know that George can still find a way to stay competitive in the East.

I am all for capitalism….but 78 million more than any other team, seems excessive.

btw…my team, with a payroll over 116 million less won tonight, taking 2 of 3 from the White Sox, and notching their 91st victory of the season…exactly 1 less than “The Payroll”
